About ...

Calder joined the DMG in Autumn 2013. His background includes sculpture, furniture design, and horticulture. He received his BA in Anthropology from UW in 2007 and currently works with a small craft-oriented landscape design/build firm in Seattle.

Calder applied to the MS program, after completing the UW's Digital Design/Fabrication Certificate program. He looks forward to exploring the world of computational design technology in greater depth, with a focus on fabrication and construction.

Calder completed his MS studies and graduated in Spring, 2015. His thesis committee chair was Rob Corser.
