Doaa joined the MS.dc program in Autumn 2015. Before coming to Seattle a few years ago, Doaa studied architecture at Effat University in Saudi Arabia and before starting the MS she studied Digital Design and Fabrication in the UW's evening certificate program. In addition to the fabrication interest, she has an interest in code and has been studying JavaScript and Python on her own. Her thesis, which she completed in Spring, 2017, working with Mehlika Inanici, is on the topic of "Parametric Exploration of Shading Screens." After graduation, she has taken a position with Robert McNeel and Associates.
