About ...

Teng Teng joined the DMG in Autumn 2012. He is a skilled Architectural Designer as well as an innovative Design Technologist.

As a Architectural Designer, Teng earned a variety of practical experiences from conceptual design to construction in a wide spectrum from 2008 to 2014. He participated in multiple mixed-use, retail, and residential projects across Asia, Mid East, and North America from schematic design to design development.

As a Design Technologist, Teng earned a Master of Science in Architecture degree in Design Computing from the University of Washington. He is capable of handling complex computational geometries and offering sustainable design solutions in design processes. Teng's interests include parametric design and practice, 3D modeling, responsive environments and robotics design. He is particularly interested in HCI issues in design, focusing on providing a more intuitive and instructive interaction between designers and design tools. These interests continued throughout his work in the DMG, culminating in the InSpire and CUBE projects. His thesis chair was Brian R Johnson.

Teng is a founding member and partner of NCF Parametric Design Association
