About ...
William Washington was a Master student in the Technical Communications (now HCDE) department, interestested in the design of tangible interfaces and 'bridging the gap' between the virtual world and the real world. At DMG, he worked on a calm media tool which would allow a user to monitor his/her virtual community without using a Graphical User Interface. After graduation, he joined the UW's central computing support staff where he leads web-design on various systems. In his continually-shrinking spare time, William enjoys making lamps, painting, and exploring the urban environment.
