About ...

Elham joined the DMG in September 2017 as a student in Design Computing program. She comes to this program with a Bachelor and Master of Architecture degree, having studied at the Art University of Isfahan. Her seven years of work experience in different architectural firms in Iran as a registered architect, provided her the chances to work on residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use design. You can review one of her professional projects in Architizer: http://architizer.com/projects/dr-calorie-fast-food/. She was also occupied since 2013, in teaching architectural courses in some of the universities in Isfahan city.

Having prior research experience in the field of daylighting analysis, made her interested in this field, and after some explorations in the fields of visual comfort, eye-tracking, and motion-tracking, she focuses on daylighting, natural ventilation, energy consumption and computational analysis. Her thesis chair was Chris Meek.

After graduation, Elham took a position with Perkins and Will as a Designer III. She also turned her thesis work into a paper which, after being peer-reviewed, was accepted to the ACSA Annual Conference. She presented it virtually in June, 2020.
