Most lighting simulation has focused on capturing the influence of aperture, glazing, orientation, interior shades and furnishings, etc.--working from the skin inwards. This project aims to focus on obtaining a better understanding of the influence of the urban fabric surrounding a site on the daylight availability within the space.
