The radiance lighting simulation and rendering application produces amazing images, but presents a very limited interface. One particular challenge is the process of defining lighting fixtures, or luminaires, which are composed of light distribution data, fixture geometry, and a fixture proxy used in rendering the geometry (as distinct from the simulation of the room within which the fixture is placed). Radlum is a new tool which facilitates creation of correct radiance luminaire data.
