About

High Dynamic Range Image Processing Toolkit for Lighting Simulations and Analysis:

Architects need analytical tools to evaluate the performance of their designs. Although a wide spectrum of evaluative tools is available, there is a general lack of designer friendly approaches. 'hdrscope' is developed as a user friendly tool that can process and analyze High Dynamic Range (HDR) photographs and simulation results from Radiance Lighting Simulation and Visualization software. Features include automated HDR image capture, HDR image processing, statistical analysis, glare evaluation and luminance distribution visualizations. Interactive image analysis options are supported through user-friendly tools for drawing regions, isolating regions of interest and performing statistical calculations that may be used for task / space analyses.
