- Abstract
This paper presents an overview of the current body of literature available on reciprocal frame structures, the history of the RF as an architectural typology, and a discussion of the links and disconnects between research and practice in this area. This information is synthesized by organizing the different morphologies observed into a set of heirarchical lineages or 'phylogenies' based on their historical context and the technological requirements for their rationalization processes. - Author: Calder Danz
